I watched the Wizard Of Oz when I was a little girl and I loved it then and I still love it now. I have a 2 year old granddaught that I bought this movie for. She has watched this with me now about three times she loves it just as much as I do. We both dont really like the scary witch and she covers her eyes just like I use to do when I watched it as a child. This is one movie that I will watch until I die and I have lots and lots of years left in me. I know my granddaughter will watch it to and pass the movie to her kids and grandchildren. This is my review and I really hope it helps you.

I,m glad I was able to get this item. These tapes on VHS are getting rare. Dvd are not good for us. My daughter has autism and she likes to use the tapes her self. Dvd's get scratched up and become useless. The dvd technology for us is a nightmare. I think its a poor switch. They should have made dvd's with a protective cover. Thank you for OZ

My kids loved this VHS movie when they were young. They wore their copy out! I am starting a collection of my kids favorite movies to have for my grandchildren. This is the classic Wizard of Oz that starts in black and white and goes to color. I had to watch this one when I got it because it had been so long since I had seen it. Judy Garland's voice is phenomenal. This is just a fabulous movie with fantasy and adventure. This is great for G audiences.

I'm sorry, but this film only has a rating of 4 stars on this website? Are people fools? This is one of the top ten greatest classic films of ALL TIME. It is an amazing movie and everyone knows it. Sure, films have come along that have been similar, but it is so original, beautiful, well acted, and enjoyable, that it shall never be trumped by another of its kind.
I loved this movie as a kid, (many years ago) Now, my seven year old daughter loves it too!! I had forgotten how special the movie was. I never even thought of purchasing the movie for her until her school did the "Wizard of Oz" play at school and they all watched the movie before they did the play. It's great for someone who has seen it 25 years ago and don't forget to get it for your own kids.
Love it trying to instill a great movie into our children. It's a classic and every child should have a copy. Vhs is priced fair DVD seams to be highly overpriced. Movie is the best of it's kind for the era that it was created in. A timeless Piece. Everyone should own a least one copy.
