However, the scissors included are very flimsy which I'll probably replace. They might be OK to cut a thin plaster, but would be useless on anything thicker including a dressing or cutting away clothing to reach a wound. Trained First Aiders tell me that's one of the basic training scenarios they cover in treating falls and gashes. The bag has room to add a few other bits to make a more comprehensive kit.
