I like these!
Normally play Ernie Ball Cobalts 10, but tried these on a whim. Glad I did. Stay fresh for ages, like Cobalts do, but easier to bend somehow. And... They're cheaper. Converted.

NYXL - Players Strings!
I've used D'Addario for years but I've always had to change them before every gig (acid sweat I'm afraid... yuk). You know what I mean. Even after wiping the strings down, same thing... corrosion. No corrosion with these though, must be a new alloy. NYXLs last me at least 5 gigs and that includes a couple of hours practise every day. I bottled out before the last gig and changed them but not before I deliberately tried to break them with a few 2 and 2.5 step bends and they didn't. The tuning stability is excellent with very little break in time. OK they don't sound as 'zingy' after a couple of days but I can live with that and yes they are twice the price of regular XLs but if they last 5 times as long then I don't care, I'm quids in!I've used D'Addario for years but I've always had to change them before every gig (acid sweat I'm afraid... yuk). Balanced tension strings are much better for lead guitar, especially for bends and tremolo use. Used them for several years now.
