    Salter soupmaker

    Overall very pleased with my purchase. The sensor can be tricky though if you put in too much liquid. I got round this by keeping some of the stock liquid back and adding it to the soup in a pan at the end of the cycle. Good if you like thick soups. Soup cycle is quick and ready in no time.

    Magic soup maker!

    I have been thinking about getting a soup maker for a while as I am following the Slimming World program which means lots of vegetables which homemade soup is perfect for. I've used it twice now and the soup has been fantastic - carrot & ginger the butternut squash & red pepper. As always with soup making, the time consuming part is the peeling and chopping but once it's in the soup maker you just select smooth or chunky, press start, leave it for around 30 minutes and voila perfect, well cooked and smoothly blended soup! It's like a little bit of magic! The self clean function is very useful and I look forward to trying lots of different recipes - highly recommended.
