    One of the penultimate bands ever - Renaissance are a joy to listen too

    The Renaissance disc set of live performances is a superb set of classical rock music from just about the most inspired rock band in British history It is a pleasure to say thank nothing can surpass a Renaissance album and these are the best Give them a try in either vinyl or CD format and immerse yourself in perfection

    Unheralded Prog Rock Giants

    While the world was paying deserved attention to the likes of ELP and Yes, Renaissance flew relatively under the radar (unless you lived in the mid-Atlantic/northeast area of the US.) If, like me, your Renaissance catalog is pure vinyl (or worse, 8-track) this a terrific compilation to have handy in the car for those long drives to the Jersey shore. Annie Haslam is one of the most remarkable talents you'll ever hear. A female voice of unparalled range and the ability to nail notes with the precision of a strobe tuner, all with little vibrato. Simply pure power and nuance.

    One of the best of 70's: Renaissance

    Kind of best of Renaissance, with a bunch of live recordings. The sound quality is very good. The stereo stage varies depending on the recording (the average rating is good for that). Very detaile booklet with the story of Renaissance (exellent). Unfortunately the booklet does not contain the lyrics. It is a very nice and fascinating music anyway.
