Portable and well made
I have used a Joby Gorillapod before for a regular camera, so I was expecting the quality to be good and this product didn't disappoint. The legs can be posed to suit the surface they are sat on and hold the camera (phone) level. The addition of the video pan and tilt features is great. I tried the magnetic feet out, just to see if they worked and the magnets are very strong - stuck them to my radiator and had to pull quite firmly to remove the tripod again! I bought this to take with me to band rehearsals, so we can make little videos to upload to social media. Good for video, impractical for anything that is not level
The panning head is nice for video and the magnets are very handy for attaching to metallic surfaces such as poles, hedges etc. However since the panning head cannot be locked in place for cases where movement is not desired (e.g. a vertical shot, or under any angle other than level), it's very hard to take pictures because the head with rotate along with the phone and will not stay where you want it to. Mobile phone tripod
I have got to say I really like this product, it has a very solid quality feel to it at the same time as being very practical. You can get nearly any shot with it using the magnetic feet and a bit of imagination. Would highly recommend.

Good for table top use
It's good with another attachment for holding a mobile phone. Is it stable? You have to work at it with a phone on top. The magnetic feet wouldn't stick to the side of my steel filing cabinet with the weight of the mobile on it. Excellent for just sitting it on the table for a Zoom call which suits me.
