Awesome quality, dimensions and value!
Great product. Heavy steel construction, and dimensions correct even to allow lifting my '13 Hayabusa without removal of the front fender. Why Spend 2.5x the price for Pitbull that doesn't even include the one adapter pin when this includes 5? Held my bike sturdily with no gripes from me, and I'm usually nit-picky! Only advice I would give the user is consider either Plasti dipping the upper assembly or wrapping in duct tape to avoid rubbing the paint on your plastics and causing damage. The stand is good, strong, and sturdy. The stand comes with a real good price for the quality. I do not recommend you sit on the motorcycle when it is lifted because I believe all front stands are made to lift the motorcycle for maintenance only, but the stand will support a humans weight easily. I also wished that Vortex would put their name on the stand to give it a personal and racing look. The stand I purchased works great and lifted my 2005 Honda CBR1000RR easily. The head pin fits perfectly into the head. The stand comes with 5 different pins. You may want to place a soft towel over the front tire fender to protect the paint finish because the entrance tolerance to access the head is tight. No matter how careful you are, you will make contact with the paint finish. Protection of ... The stand is good, strong, and sturdy. The stand comes with a real good price for the quality. Great budget head lift!
If you dont want to spend big money on a top tier lift then Vortex is the one to buy, it is probably the only reasonably-priced lift that is recommended by professionals for secure lifting of your bike. Having said this: DO NOT SIT ON YOUR BIKE while it is on the stands, the Vortex is likely to handle the extra load but dont try it if you value your bike, also you MUST have the rear stand in place before lifting the front, DO NOT use this lift without the rear. Other than that: great quality, easy to assemble, metal is thicker and stronger than most of the competition, powdercoated, Vortex stands are just a very good deal overall.If you dont want to spend big money on a top tier lift then Vortex is the one to buy, it is probably the only reasonably-priced lift that is recommended by professionals for secure lifting of your bike. Well built stand...because I lift heavy dual sport bikes like my Suzuki Vstrom 1000...used two 8 inch thick beam tenants to roll stand under Vstrom cause bike is tall...worked great...worked great on my Suzuki GSXS1000F. And will work well on my friend PJs BMW K1200S...
