Exactly as described but I found the size of the arm too small on this tool to get enough leverage. However, if you unplug the connector you can slip a 22mm ring spanner along the cable and onto the old sensor which increases leverage. Reversed the process to put the new one on. Took 10 mins to replace plus the cost of a genuine OE sensor and all done for a few quid. Replace every 50k-60k miles, avoid dash warning lights and save a fortune in garage repairs.... simples.
