    Rejuvenated the platten of my '60s steno machine!

    I recently bought an old 1960s steno machine (a machine that writes in shorthand) from ebay. And when I put the steno paper in the machine, the platen had lost its tackiness and didn't grip the paper well resulting in the paper not moving as it's supposed to. I went on google to see if a company fixed old steno machines. I found one company, but it didn't return my email, and when I tried to call the office, I got an answering machine message to leave my name and phone number and an official would get back to me. I was getting nowhere fast. As a last resort, I looked on ebay to see if there would be something that would bring back the tackiness of the platen, short of re-covering it with rubber again. I found CaiKleen that had a lot of great reviews and happy customers; and I, therefore, ...

    Xlnt speaker restorer

    Recently bought pair of 30 year old Advent Heritage speakers. Woofer rubber surrounds weren't eroding but were in pretty sad condition. This stuff brought them back to life with a resultant improvement in audio quality. Use sparingly.
