    Simple, effective, universal.

    Designed in a way that it can accept different shapes/sizes of head. I've fitted a very old and rusty head to this helve and it works well. You COULD shave off wood in places to make a tighter fit but it's good, as-is - and it'll be usable with other head designs. If stored with the head off, it can ALSO serve as a dentistry tool for burglars. :-)

    Everything I expected, and more for the money.

    Its better than expected because it was varnished, which isn't always the case. Its good and heavy - I'm sure it will serve me well. The varnish means that it will weather well and the dirt can be washed off easily.
