    Fixed the Ethernet problem and the printer is back online

    After 10 years of use, tHe Ethernet interface on my original Formatter board suddenly went flaky. The USB port was working fine so I figured it had to be the Formatter board. I really didn’t want to shell out $170 for a new HP, so I decided to risk the $30 for the replacement. I found a how-to guide on YouTube. It took 15-20 minutes to replace the board and my 2015dn is working great.

    Easy, economical printer fix

    Number one most imported to know about this board is that this board fails on certain HP Laser printers over a long period of time. Your printer might just randomly stop printing and randomly go offline and it will drive you crazy so I am about to save you a lot of grief by just replacement of this board in your printer BONUS it super easy to do, side pops out 4 screws to remove and replace.

    Works exactly like it says it does!

    5 minutes to replace the board; a little longer to learn how to initialize the board's previous network settings and now I've got a printer. For $20 and not the $250 a local printer repair shop wanted. I heartily recommend this replacement board.

    P2015DN Formatter Board

    Formatter Board was well packaged. After installation, everything worked flawlessly. Network and USB ports work great, printer has no issues of printing. The added memory was a nice bonus.
