About this product

Product Information

The Ultima Online 9th Anniversary Collection features all seven Ultima Online expansion packs in one bundle. The collection also includes the Crystal and Shadow housing styles and matching furniture. Four servants occupy your home and offer predictions about your past and future, providing gambling advice as well as general guidance through the large online world. New accounts receive a 30-day free trial.

Ultima Online is a spin-off of the Ultima series started by Richard Garriott at a time when RPGs were merely text on a screen. This incarnation takes place entirely online and contains no stand-alone version of the game. After establishing an account, players log on and create a character. Gameplay occurs in an online world that literally takes hours to walk across.

Events continue as you log out and the game contains its own virtual economy and ecology. Resources are limited and pricing of items is controlled by a market economy ruled by supply and demand. As is standard with most RPGs, experience brings the character more power and greater abilities. Ultima Online was designed to update frequently by Origin via a system of downloadable patches.
