About this product

Product Information

Life isn't so sweet in Candy Land, especially now that hordes of evil pastries are on the prowl. Only one man is tough enough to take on these deranged desserts; Ninjabread Man. Gamers can use their Wii Remote to send Ninja stars flying at chomping cupcakes, angry bees, and jelly monsters, then whip out the samurai sword and slice the sugary adversaries into pools of quivering jam. Players must collect power ups to increase the range and power of Ninjabread Man's weapons, and grab eight power rods in each level to activate teleportation devices that allow for travel to the next level. After completing each level of Ninjabread Man in the normal mode, players can unlock Score Pickups mode, Time Attack mode, and Hidden Pickups mode

  • Cute game but hard to control

It's a cute game. Basically you are the Ninjabread Man and you have to save Candy Land from being taken over by evil cupcakes & such. I give it 3 stars because it's hard to control him. He never swings his sword when he needs to and always ends up being killed. It's annoying and I haven't been able to get past the first level. You have to use both controllers and you use your left hand to make Ninjabread Man jump, so that took some getting used to. :o( Also the camera angle gets weird lot and I find myself pressing the down button on the d-pad frequently to see where I'm going. Perhaps I need more practice. I will update this when I get a better feel for the game. I've only had it a few days.

  • Ninjabread Man - Great Concept falls Short

Yesterday we received "Ninjabread Man" in the mail. The first time playing it we got very fustrated in the fact that no matter what you did with the wiimote, the design of this game would always contradict the wiimote and nunchuk's actions. We also played it today and after getting highly fustrated with the game not responding very well with the wiimote/nunchuk . The designers had a great concept but didn't actually follow through once making the game. The view rotates and it can't be stopped. Want to kill those cookie monsters? Even if you follow the instructions and swing the wiimote the right away the chances you'll die before you get to kill your enemy are very great. Ninjabread Man is a waste of money unless you have superior patience. The good news is once I find this the box for ...

  • Ninja

Ninjabread Man truly has to be one of the games released in 2005 so far. DDI did a job making Ninjabread Man and the action was in the game. The game has storytelling and the CGI was animated. The side characters were along with Ninjabread Man and the villain was a bad guy. The jokes were sentences. This game really is one of the games of all time, if not the last decade.

  • Ninjabread Man

I think that the game is fairly simple to play. Some of the controls can be a little difficult at times. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves it! The graphics are really cute and funny!

  • Short Game

I really like the game play, I think it's similar to Super Mario Galaxy in the movement. I beat the game in under 2 hours because there are only 3 levels and a tutorial. It's a cute kids game so it's worth saving for a rainy day.
