    What happens to you may be short term, but the end result is long term

    This is a great chick flick but also a guy, flick, anything can happen to your wife or girlfriend at anytime, and there are no guarantees...it is what kind of person are you? Are you the long haul person, or throw my hands up in the air, and quit? This is what happens in this film...a n accident leaves his newlywed wife with the last five years of her life gone, and her controlling parents see a chance to reshape her life, through lies and make believe they convince her to leave her husband and come home! Through it all, he never tells her the truth about her parents or her sister, who is also a co-conspirator, and when she finallyu learns the truth about her parents and what is happening--well, that is where you will have to watch the film...at the end of the film, you will also see ...

    This movie was in good shape for the buy. I personally am not sure if I’ll keep the movie. It hit a soft spot for me in a personal sense... made it hard to watch. I wish it woulda given more time to the after than to the during.

    An enduring message of how love transcends all.

    Starring Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, and Jessica Lange, giving excellent performances, "The Vow" is beautifully directed by Michael Sucsy. It is the story of Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum), a young, newly married couple. They are faced with a catastrophic turn of events when Paige is involved in an automobile accident, rendering her comatose. When she emerges from the coma, Paige experiences severe memory loss, including her past with Leo. Leo is devastated, and exerts heroic efforts to reignite Paige's memory of the deep love they shared. This film would make a great "date" movie, as it will capture your heart, with its enduring message of how love transcends all.
