When the box arrived it was very battered and torn (original packaging from Jura) so I questioned how new the item was but it turns out this was just a packaging sleeve. The original box could have been in better condition but otherwise very pleased thank you.

A Goldring gem to replace the G800 at long last.
Goldring have produced (with the help of Audio Technica) a real gem of a cartridge and the stylus is so easy to clip into place, I was gutted when I ripped the stylus out of my brand new cartridge, trying to mount it on my RB250 arm, my own silly fault as I only have one hand, anyway, I ordered a replacement stylus and was pleased to see that it was as beautifully packaged as the original cartridge, very little burn in time was needed, perhaps 4 sides, and it is now singing sweetly. This Goldring line is cost-effective. I preferred the E2 for a more analogue feel, a full-bodied sound, for rock, metal, blues and older records. This E3 produces a thinner sound, but with more detail, which can be interesting with today's presses of modern titles.This Goldring line is cost-effective.
