Great quality compost at an excellent price.
This compost is unlike any you can buy on the high street. It is dry and has a fluffy texture. I have bought nothing but this compost for the past 5 years. It is more expensive than your average compost but it is really good quality and the plants flourish in it. This particular bundle of 100 litres is excellent value and with free P&P, you can't go wrong. I would definitely recommend this product.This compost is unlike any you can buy on the high street. It is dry and has a fluffy texture. I have bought nothing but this compost for the past 5 years. It is more expensive than your average compost but it is really good quality and the plants flourish in it. Hmmm. Looks like an explosion in a hessian sack factory.
It remains to be seen whether this is good compost or not. It looks like the remnants of a hessian factory inside and I would say that in a years time if you put it on your compost heap it will be quite nice. Lots of large wooden matter and very clumpy. I'm going to cut my losses and put it in the bottom of my raised beds but I certainly wouldn't think about using it as a top layer in them. Time will tell I guess. Wont be buying again if I don't get good results from it. It remains to be seen whether this is good compost or not. Good quality compost at a fair price
This compost has a good fibrous texture and is very clean to handle. It is delivered in 2 x40 litre and one 20 litre bags making it easy to handle and store. Recommended.

fibrous and lumpy, not multi-purpose.
Time to dispatch was slow and the quality of the compost wasnt great. Very fibrous and in lumps which dont break down because of the fibrous conposiiton. Some of it looks like sheeps' wool. It is probably ok for laying around well-established plants but certainly isnt a multi-purpose material, .

It is difficult to rate an item such as this because its quality depends on how it performs. I am giving it every chance and have every confidence in it . It has water retention properties but whether it has the necessary plant food in it remains to be seen .
