I ended up buying it for brewing a large jar of kombucha and dispensing it through the spigot after the brewing was done but I found out after getting this one that it needs to be a higher grade of stainless steel so it isn't the best option for brewing which was my mistake. For any other use I think it would be a very good sturdy option.
