Clever design, functions very well, but takes a little getting used to how it works. If using with a telescope, I've found it very helpful to attach the telescope's eyepiece to the adapter first, get it positioned right, and then put the smartphone, adapter and eyepiece back into the telescope's focuser.
Since you can't do that with binoculars or spotting scopes, that could make positioning it harder. Using the adapter with multi-lens smartphones could be a little problematic.
