As in the first two editions of the series, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect casts first-person shooter fans as heroes who enter momentous battles throughout modern history and the distant future, to prevent the demise of humanity itself. The game's story finds Cortez, the series' hero, on a quest to discover the origins of the TimeSplitters, a mysterious group that travels through time causing trouble for the good people of Earth. Using the paradoxes of time travel to his advantage, the hero can regularly join up with past and future versions of himself, to fight the enemy as a team. A wide selection of historical, modern, and futuristic weapons is available, and environments feature destructible elements. Like earlier TimeSplitters titles, Future Perfect puts a heavy emphasis on fast-paced multiplayer gaming; split-screen multiplayer modes are available, and the main "Story" campaign supports co-op play. Included "Map Maker" tools allow gamers to create their own single- and multiplayer levels.

Both Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters Future Perfect are the true successors of Goldeneye 007. The game play is amazing. Smooth dynamics, and the beautifully rendered physics of the weapons in the game, make for an enjoyable playing experience. Timesplitters Future Perfect has a perfect blend of zany comedy and underlying tones of darkness sprinkled through out the game. it's an action packed thrill ride that takes you on a journey through haunted, zombie infested dwellings, futuristic war torn cities and various challenges like monkey curling, death matches and cat racing! Free Radical went above and beyond when they created the Timesplitters series. If you've ever played Goldeneye 007 or Perfect Dark, you'll see the similarities right away. This game is great, it brings together all the components that a fps should have. The single player campaign is excellent with lots of humor. Also with the story line is that there is a second character with you at all times, and if you so chose you may use them for co-op. The multilayer really makes the game. There are a ton of different game modes to play, a ton of characters , each with special attributes. The announcer says some pretty funny stuff during the game as well! The best part of the multiplayer is that you can have up to 4 people split screen and have bots. Also to further your customization with multiplayer, you can set all of the guns in the game that will appear and a ton of other settings. The mapmaker is truly revolutionary. There are scripting elements and it is very straight forward to learn, making it a simple yet powerful tool. It lacks some options, but the fact that it is the only game to have such a feature really makes it worth it. The maps can be copied and transferred via the memory cards as well making distribution fun amongst friends. The game is missing two elements that I have come to like. A jump button is missing, tho it does not detract much from the gameplay, it is a nice feature. Another that I have come to appreciate is ADS from Call of Duty, or Aim Down Sights. There is no ads on this game, only for snipers, for anything without a scope, the gun will zoom closer to the cross hairs and give you a sort of free aim system. This allows you to move them to the corners of the screen without moving the camera unless you push on the edge of the screen. It is helpful for example if your running and decided you wanna shoot at someone to the side of you, but don't wanna take your eyes off where your going. Overall I give this game a perfect, because its pros highly outweigh the cons. Lets hope they make another one!

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is one of the best first-person shooter games I've ever played. Electronic Arts took TimeSplitters 2 and improved it in every way possible. If you liked TimeSplitters 2, then you will definitely want this game. The stages are in-depth and are fun to play over and over. The computer AI on this game is great. And the multi-player mode is the best I've played on the Gamecube. I love the fact that you can add computer bots in the multi-player. This is one of my favorite games. Pros: Smooth controls, great multi-player! Cons: Can't really think of any cons. What I like most about TSFP(Timesplitter: future perfect) IS THAT EVEN AFTER YOU'VE COMPLETED THE STORY, THERE IS LOTS TO DO. But the thing that I Love!!!!!!!! to do is that you cab make your own map and you customize everything from were you get the weapons to the enviorment and other great stuff.But the thing i hate is that there might not be a fourth TSFP and if there was that would be the number one game because it probally would have some awsome graphics, they would add more charaters, they would add new places, and more stuff to mapmaker(were you bulid your map in the game).I bought this game because its my faviorte game of all time to me no other game can top it because it has everything like mulitplayer,over 150 charters you can choose from, you can build your own map, and you'll ... Time Splitter Great!
If you like 1st person games like MetriodPrime,Call of Duty and other games like those u would love this game over 150 playable characters but pretty hard to unlock callenge is really difficlut so it make u keep playing for a long time.Multiplay mode is really fun espeicaly if u have 4 players.A lot of differnt guns flamethrower bat machine gun sniper rocket launher and so much more i just forgot Haha.
