Board Game Top Shop is a game of property management similar to Monopoly. The game takes place in eight malls of varying sizes, each with its own layout. The object is to reach the required asset level, or to drive a certain number of opponents into bankruptcy. Success depends on both strategy and luck, as many outcomes are determined by "pencil rolls" (the game's version of dice) and drawing event cards. There are 11 characters from which to choose and up to six competitors can play at once. During each turn, players can open of 44 different stores, accept deliveries, or expand the size their existing businesses.

And the price point was very good, sent an offer and accepted no problem. The only reason it isn’t 10/10 is because it doesnt have the inner cardboard insert that held the pokewalker. I took a gamble for it, since it wasn’t in the description if it had or not, but it’s ok. The box is still in really great shape otherwise, and came fast. Definitely recommend!

Fun, Cutely Designed Multiplayer Shop-buying Board Game
This is an entertaining, cutely animated board game with neat shop names and characters and their animations/personalities. The graphics are as it would be from the early PS1 era, but it works perfectly with the style of game play. As a match develops and more stores are bought/sold the intensity picks up, learning what the special events do and seeing how other players or AI use their points as they collect them. The closer someone gets to the goal score, the intensity picks up even more! It is a very fun multiplayer game for a bunch of people. This game is amazing! The graphics aren't great (it is Playstation 1 graphics), but it's one of the most addicting games I've ever played. The single player lacks a bit just because the up to 6 multiplayer mode is too fun. It's similar to Monopoly (but way way better). You open shops and can expand them selling more expensive stuff. You also get points when you buy something, so you can use points to open a shop with another player's money, reduce a player's money to 1, gain money based on how many shops you have, or steal a player's money. Make sure that your shop is in stock or the other player will buy your store. There is a goal asset you much reach before the other player reaches the goal. One game run takes a longtime. There are different characters you choose are chibi animated. The grpahics are ok. The seasons are different from ours. You are able to create stores such as a comic book store, # of different restaurants, music store, real estate business, jewerly store, toy store, etc. In each player's turn, you stock up and roll a dice (random). If you land on a store - the more profit you get and to take over another store. Each time you travel ... It is the most addicting game ever and is worth buying. Love this game
Bought this because I used to play it and I had a yearning to do so again... it’s just as addictive and fun as it was back then. It’s a great way to distract yourself from anything you need to avoid for a little while. In my spouse’s words, “this would be an excellent way to waste a day”.
