Easy to put together - I watched the you tube clip - took me 10 mins. To start I Baited it with broken hard boiled eggs, and caught my first bird that morning. In the last 4 days I’ve trapped 15. I’ll Keep going until they’ve all gone and all the small birds return. This trap is excellent value, it’s sturdy and works really well. Highly recommended. If you’ve got a magpie problem you need this trap!

The canny birds arrive in a group of 4, have a stab at the fatballs on the birdtable, but ignore the tasty stuff I have left in the trap. Guess I will have to wait for colder weather, but with the sun getting closer and warming the planet as it is, it might be a long wait.
