Those rambunctious rabbits are back and ready for world domination in this follow-up to 2006's madcap, mini-game abundant original. The Rabbids now have a home base on Earth and plan on learning the idiosyncrasies of human behavior to more easily infiltrate our population. Once again Rayman vows to stop them, but he'll have to do it from inside their odd organization by wearing a bunny suit. Raving Rabbids 2 introduces 50 all-new mini-games that poke fun at pop culture and use the Wii Remote in several different ways.<br><br>Players can use the Wii Remote like a music instrument, for example, or as a bike's handlebars and even as a glass bottle. To unlock all the mini-games, players must advance through a campaign spanning five regions: U.S., Europe, Asia, South America, and the Tropics. A new party mode lets up to four players battle each other for high scores, with several games supporting either cooperative or simultaneous action on the same screen. Another key feature is the ability to customize Rayman and the Rabbids with a wide assortment of skins, hats, clothes, and other accessories.

A great party game
I had already had the first one for quite some time when one afternoon my brother and I were taking turns and all of a sudden our dad asked if he could play. Now, you should know that Dad has played nothing but WiiSports since we got the Wii. Pretty soon he had completely taken over and was giggling like a little kid. When I was packing up to go back to school a few days later (I have my own Wii there) he instantly became five and said "The bunnies are going back?" And so it seemed perfect to get this for him for Christmas. He opened it this morning and just started laughing. We've been playing for about two hours this evening, and even though I like the first one, Rabbids 2 has stepped it up a notch; the graphics, the variety, the costumes, pretty much everything. You can customize your rabbids, play head-to-head (instead of taking turns, like in the first one) and travel around the world. The song/dance/whatever-ya-wanna-call-'em things have added a "dance" element to the original shaking of the controller idea, and Mom was taking pictures of us rocking out. The only thing we've found so far that's not-so-fantastic is that when you go to a new continent you have to play all six mini-games in a row, not that they take TOO long. After that, though, they're unlocked in the free play menu and you can play whichever ones you want as many times as you want (we played bumper cars probably sixteen times in a row :) If you don't mind burping, farting, or stupid humor, then this is a good game for kicks and giggles that doesn't require too much thinking. It really uses the WiiMotes, something that I've found other games don't always do. If there are often lots of people at your house trying to play (aka fighting for possession of the controller) with other games then this one will be fantastic, as you can play head-to-head, or take turns with the short little games. Fun times all around!

We love this game! Our first game for the Wii was Rayman Raving Rabbids. Now, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is absolutely funny humor appropriate for all ages to enjoy. The whole family has played including Grandma, Grandpa and my 5-year old son. The game itself is full of fun mini-games in various countries, and the games themselves are usually extremely silly but a lot of fun to watch. I've found that the best time we've had is playing with two controllers with 3 or more people and switching off every so often... because this game can be quite a work out! So, remind your kids to take a break between mini-games. For example, if you really get into it you may find that your arm muscles hurt a little the next day… Another fun part is that you can customize Rayman and the Rabbids : Use more than ... Fun For Almost Anyone!
This game is one of several in a series of Raving Rabbids. In my personal collection I have TV Party, Rabbids go Home and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. These games appeal to everyone from child to adult and cross genres. They are silly and fun, nobody dies. The creators of this series have an incredible sense of humour. Even the little cut away scenes are fun to sit through (normally I can't get my fingers on the exit button fast enough!) The cartoon style is reminiscent of Spongebob but with a little more mischief. This game has a series of mini-games and I have only scratched the surface but considering that the Rabbids series of games are always fairly inexpensive, they are the best value for your gaming dollar. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
As avid fans of the original Rayman game, we just had to have the second one. While the original game has Rayman as the hero, the second game is about the Rabbids invading earth and traveling around. It offers small game units, quick play, at 2 different skill levels. We played the whole game out in 1 day. My kids love it, it is a great party game when having friends over, too. It is not a game for avid gamers, you will not find it challenging enough. It's funny, short plays are great for the kids, though. Would I buy it again? Yes, keeping in mind that Rayman 1 is a more challenging game and we had at least a week until we had played it out.As avid fans of the original Rayman game, we just had to have the second one.
