Not cheap, but a real ‘keeper’. Excellent
Great headphone amp and enough drive for high impedance phones. Sound quality is fabulous, even using ‘unbalanced’ output. There’s no real need for the bass or presence enhancement, but those enhancements are not unpleasant. The big plus is that it bonds well with Apple stuff and avoids any difficulties with anything that isn’t branded as Beats. Perfect with my BD DT150s It’s solidly built and a doddle to use. Not overly styled and volume easy to adjust from pretty much any angle. It’s actually quite small, so not too much of a stretch for even modest-sized pockets! There’s nothing I don’t like about the xCAN and can see me using this for years.Great headphone amp and enough drive for high impedance phones.
