This seller went the extra mile when they packed my purchase for shipment. Since it was not in the original box (as advertised), they put pieces of styrofoam around it, then put bubble wrap around the styrofoam. This is someone who is clearly aware of the need for adequate packing materials for Department 56 items. I am truly grateful. Above and beyond experience!

The FedEx driver informed me of the damage and instructed me to refused delivery. I was unable to verify the full extent of the damage because I never fully had the package in my possession. I recommend not using FedEx as a shipping service for fragile items in the future.
