    Good accompaniment to 70-200mm or 300mm lenses. Best used with f2.8 or f4 lenses Reduces light by one half, therefore better used on a professional or semi-professional body, that can autofocus well with less light Keeps its value in long-term and well built

    I use this for photographing birds when I need to get that bit closer on my 200-500 Nikon lens I am down to f8 that's what I would expect, so a sunny or bright day is needed. naturally you lose a bit of sharpness but not much ,a bit expensive but worth it.

    Sharp and lightweight

    Perfect way to extend telephoto reach by 40% without compromising quality. You do lose a stop of light but that's acceptable and is minor compared to benefit this has on a good quality lens.
