    Lid for teal actifry

    There is a little plastic catch at the back of these lids which unfortunately snapped off on the previous lid, so I hope this product turns out to be more robust, perhaps I was unfortunate inasmuch as it broke off when my partner was using it, men cannot do nothing right, this is the first time I have had to replace a lid, we use the actifry quite a lot, I have always been happy with the product as a whole, so hopefully replacing this part will give me a good few more years of use.

    Received broken but didn't notice

    Should have checked on arrival but didn't. I only fitted it to my Actifry to make sure it fitted. Apparently that invalidated any warranty. Fellow eBayers, If you want to buy this product it's far cheaper on Amazon £17.98 instead of £24.99, the filter is £4.99 instead of £6.49, and guess what, it's the same company supplying the products!! Don't believe all eBay suppliers are cheaper. I won't get a replacement, it's yet another expensive lesson learnt.

    It does what it says on the tin

    As this was a replacement part it was expected to do the same job as before, and lo and behold, it does. It isn't 100% accurate, there is a small gap where the lid meets the actual top of the fryer. I assume this is because design moves on over time. But it is sturdy and certainly looks authentic. Was cheaper than the actual Tefal site because it was postage free.

    Better than original

    Original lid was an all Perspex one, this one seems stronger with half of it being a see through lid which works just as well and does not stop you seeing food inside.

    Perfect replacement

    Exactly the same as the original part which failed due to a small catch breaking. I guess this will go the same way in due course.
