RE TIME LIFE THE GREAT CITIES / MUNICH
Although I'm definitely NOT a fan of Munich because of its recent past since 1920 [I ACTUALLY HATE THE PLACE!!] it was one of cities I visited on my 1st trip to Europe for the 1988/1989 holiday season. Sadly the ghost from the recent past are still too strong there but it's still a wonderful part of my Time/Life series collection on The Great Cities, having collected 12 from the places I've been to: NYC, San Francisco, Berlin, Vienna, Munich, Venice, Rome, Paris, Prague, Amsterdam, London & Moscow. I'm hoping to eventually collect 6 more once I visit these great cities: Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong. Jerusalem, Athens & Rio de Janeiro. When I first saw my sister's collection when this series 1st came out in the late 70s, I had wanted to start the same collection, fully unaware that Munich was ...
