Should have spent a bit more
On arrival it was plain to see that the quality of the item was very poor. The steel grid is punched using tooling that needs either setting up properly, or it needs sharpening. The plastic moulding is not well finished the spot welding is hap-hazard, and the gauge of steel is unlikely to withstand the job of mashing potatoes for very long. I have years of experience of stainless steel, and this looks like very cheap stainless steel, which perfectly matches the general 'feel' of the whole item. My conclusion is that it won't last long, it looks awful and I would certainly not have selected it had I seen it first. It arrived on time though!
