    Great tool.

    I will preface to say I am a DeWalt fan. I bought in the batteries so I figured we keep up with it and try this jig saw out. I have the old d-handle but wanted a brushless. This saw is comfortable, more than powerful enough with my 5ah and flexvolt batteries. If you are already Dewalt foundationed this would be a great little saw for the toolbox.

    Listed as "New"... might be.... but the "original box" it came in looks like it got run over by a truck. Then I open the box, the tool looks to the eye in good shape, then I start inspecting it, and pieces of metal fall out. Internal parts. So, no, it didn't get damaged in shipping. The exterior looks great. But locking mechanisms don't work. Someone really broke this tool and that's why it's so cheap... I'm not suprised thar they don't accept returns.

    Dewalt.....No regrets here

    Product as advertised. Dewalt is a good tool, despite few who have had bad reviews. Maybe because of skill level, I don't know. I've made it to retirement age using them. It is a solid saw. Has not disappointed me in the least.

    This Design Is Better

    I thought that 'barrel' design was odd, but when i researched it I found out that it was highly favored. Based on that, I got it. i agree with others that when you try this design you will not go back to the other. This design is much easier to use and control the cut. I now have several Dewalt tools and they all perform great and take the same batteries. A greatproduct.

    Never going back

    So far, this thing has worked really well. I've had good luck with all my DeWalt 20v tools, so I'm expecting this one to be the same. Very comfortable and easy to maneuver compared to my old one. I can't see me ever going back to the other style.
