Its a Sun Shade, Its not Waterproof. I expected (wrongly) to be able to put a patio table and chairs underneath and they would remain dry when it rained, or be able to sit underneath it when it rained, it is porous and the water drips through, and the cover stretches the fabric between the rails and you get hanging domes of water. I may try to get a waterproof cover to go over it. Sorry I bought it.
