The late John Peel became world famous for allowing many known and unknown (by mainstream) artists to come into the BBC, adding their music to the archives there. The Sisters of Mercy's early sessions from the 80s & into the 90s, have proven to be inspirational to many of today's artists. Now and again, they get back together but the magic they had was never to be recovered so these sessions bear special merit to their era and existence in especially haunting Goth music.

For years Sisters fans have had to make do with bootleg copies on vinyl and cassette of these early BBC sessions. This has been a long time coming but well worth the wait. The best cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene bar none. Rise and Reverberate!
