Great printer - good supply of ink good capacity paper tray. Extra supply of black ink a bonus. Added bonus is removeable print heads. I have another make of ink tank printer I have had for 4 years now that has given great service BUT the head got clogged and try as I might the yellow just wont clear. Its print head is fixed and if normal clean routine wont you basically you are stuck with a non functioning printer. The Canon removable heads mean if it should ever get clocked it will be way easier to unclog. A BIG plus Filling the ink with the supplied bottles is a real doddle and no split ink. The running costs will be a fraction of using cartridge based printers and not having to faff with changing cartridges. It is well worth the extra initial cost if you are a medium to heavy user. print quality so far has been great. Print speed is not as quick as claimed. The duplexing feature is great and it is good to see it pauses between each side in order for the ink on 1st page to dry. Now the downside. The software/setup/android app/printer setup to enable it to print wirelessly from a phone is absolutely AWFUL Its by far the worst I have ever come across. The Canon help videos are next to useless the Android phone app just wont work so far to get it to see the printer in spite of following the directions. I have never come across such a frustrating printer app. The other downside is the abysmal 2 line monochrome unlit screen. Quite why they continue using such a primitive screen is extraordinary in this day and age. My other Canon Pixma MF7150 that I use for photos has a nice coloured touch screen. So in summary a good quality printer with the advantages of low cost printing, duplex functions, good paper options but let down by primitive 2line LED screen and abysmal app making it virtually impossible to connect wirelessly from a phone (haven't tried laptop yet its likely to be just as bad as android phone)Read full review

Exactly as described. Arrived on time, brand new in box. Set it up without issue. Print runs are pixel perfect. Absolute bargain. The ink caused a bit of a panic as initially it didn't want to fill but wiggling the bottle around solved the issue. Installed the print heads, connected to Wi-Fi and off it went. The most complex part of the entire thing was trying to register it on the Canon site which isn't terribly clear but it did eventually find my serial number all by itself.

It isn’t better than we expected but is as we expected. However, setting it up would have been far easier had there been a proper instruction manual. How one is expected to read a manual online, whilst setting the printer up online, I do not know.

A great machine capable of wireless connection to my iphone and printing from my computer. Ink is no longer an issue. The scanner is good for emailing off documents or photocopying.

Excellent value in ink. Easy to fill. What it doesn’t say is the bottles “latch on” so don’t worry about leaks/spills. A “whole bottle” fits in at a time. So no need for half open bottles. Has large storage. Good sized palate tray that’s hidden under so paper stays clean if you don’t print often. Not the smallest of printers. But a clean cubic shape so site in the corner well. So far. Best printer I’ve ever invested in. No flimsy parts. (Don’t be shocked by the “2 ink cartridge looking things as you open it” they are “print heads” Comes with 3 giant black bottles of ink. And 1 of each colour. I’m estimating 3 years of ink at least for my home/work office.
