    inspirational and guiding

    This book provides passages from all the great Stoic philosophers such as Seneca Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius for each day of the year. It is about coping with real life and everyday things and emphasising the power we have to face events in the right spirit. Small chunks of relevant ethics a day is a tonic. For light and inspiration read enjoy and employ!

    Easy to handle stoicism.

    I bought Marcus Aurelius' Meditations but it is so dense, every sentence needs to be studied and thought about, that I can't read it. Watching Ryan Holiday's videos, reading and reflecting on this book on a daily basis is much more practical. Thanks
