    Great book, a tad outdated.

    Alot of great stuff in this book. Some of the tools are a tad outdated and no longer available. The shop built jig ideas are worth the price of admission. I built his horizontal router table and it works like a charm. I use it for making raised panel cabinet doors with a 1-3/4 hp router and a verticle panel raising bit. I also cut dovetails with it and I don't own a dovetail jig. Lots od real gems inside. Highly Recomend

    Great book, Packed full of useful information

    Patrick Spielman really spells out the uses of a router. This book is full of tips to make woodworking easier. His books are great and I am going to proceed to purchase more books by this author.

    If you can get only one router book, buy this one!

    Excellent book--informative and straight-to-the-point! The equipment is slightly dated but the principles and jigs are timeless. Good for an experienced amateur or a professional.

    Unable to find jigs talked about

    Unfortunately Patrick Spielman dies and unable to find the jigs he mention in his book. If there was a rewrite or addendum that show where to purchase some of the jigs in his book, it would have far more value.
