  • Terrorvision - A Hidden Talent

This is one of those CD's that is a must for anyone with an interest in Rock (at least what we called Rock in the 70's and 80's - not what's called rock today). Little know in the US, Terrorvision offer a unique blend of mainstream great like the unforgettable "Oblivion", or the haunting lyrics of "Middleman." For a harder edge, check out the lyrical gymnastics on "Pretend Best Friend" (leaves today's rappers weeping in their bling). If you haven't got this already, track it down. You'll love it.

  • Terrorvision strays to the dark side of pop.....

...as a follow up to the critically acclaimed but commercial bomb Formaldehyde, "How to make friends and influence people" was re-titled after the owners of the copy write to the book "how to win friends and influence people" threw their toys out of the pram. The title was an ironic poke at the music industry and a middle digit to the label (Total Vegas Recordings) who insisted that Terrorvision made a pop record. Despite this creative restriction the album has stood the test of time and punctuates the period really well. With chart success from singles "Pretend Best Friend", "Some People Say" and "Oblivion". First released in 1994 and recorded in New York the influence of being the other side of the Pond helped this four piece band from Sheffield hit the big time. Well worth adding to ...
