Excellent looks fantastic in person and sounds great
Had my eye on various types of these retro style players and really glad I choose this one. I admit I was a bit unsure from the photo's how good the wood was, but it lovely and natural. Really easy to set up and use too. The CD player is getting the most use and it's brilliant! Sound quality is great for most rock, you do lose a bit on the bass on dancer stuff, but not by much. We tested it from Goldfrapp to The Clash and all great! Record player is good too, new vinyl sounds fantastic, only issue is the arm isn't weighted to cope with old warped discs (but the good old penny trick sorted that out in seconds). The dials to select are nice and simple, the remote is a boon for me and it looks just fantastic with it's lights on. Excellent value for money. LOVE IT! Great customer ... Original had to be replaced due to faults, and the replacement also had faults. The instruction booklet needs to make certain points clear. IE the product will not record onto a USB that has other recorded audio data on it. It needs to be a freshly formatted stick. The tuner knob on the actual unit, tunes FM only and not DAB as well (even though it states so in the manual). The replacement unit had a major CD fault - skipping and trying to play more than one track at a time. Westminster 'music center' review!
Really nice looking item with very good sound quality! Easy to use with good volume! It's worth taking into consideration that whilst playing records you will only be able to listen in stereo and not surround sound (if you're trying to play back connected to a surround sound system). Still well worth the money though!!
