    "Some people get rich, others eat shit and die."

    I have strong, mutual feelings for Dr. Gonzo's Literature, he has a fine grasp on the chaos that the degenerate swine of the 80's puked up onto the american breakfast table. Hunter writes of his experiences in the 80's thru short prose. Sweet stories involving the evils and complete madness that those times brought, sex, drugs, and Reagan. Keeping close tabs on, political lies and mistalkings he challenges the government of the 80's calling them out, making them ultimately look like the kook. I honestly bought this book because he exclaims the quote that I recite repeatedly and monastically throughout my existence; "Some people get rich, others eat shit and die".

    Classic Thompson...Political insights.

    This is a collection of newspaper articles written throughout the 1980's. I like this book because it helps to fill in those missing years of Thompson's life during the 1980's. Hunter's wit is at it's sharpest when dealing with the ugly political realities of both parties. He makes many predictions early on that came to pass in later years. As always there is a good dose of biting satire to help wash down the bitter truth.

    Hunter & The Bush Family

    This book tells it all. The Bush Family may not like it. Hunter shines a light on them. May He rest in peace, he only wished to state the " Facts."
