Item not as described. Thought it was too good a price to be true. Advertised as a pack of 12. Only 1 arrived. Am keeping it as it is what I wanted but I feel the description should be changed to show the price is for only a single item so as to avoid misleading people and also to avoid miss selling. It did arrive quite quickly and packaging flimsy but contents not particularly fragile. Would probably be very cautious about using this seller again, depending on the item.

    Strong and hard

    Much superior to the water-based varnishes (which can dry with a soft sticky feel). It dries relatively quickly to a rock hard smooth finish. I used it to varnish some wooden bowling balls and it stood up well to being bashed about.

    Great Varnish if incorrectly labelled!

    It’s good varnish, goes on well and looks great when it’s dry. The only problem is that the tin doesn’t have the gloss or satin label in the way portrayed in the picture, but has a label stuck on the lid. This said Satin, which is what I ordered, but there is no way it’s satin, but is clearly a gloss!

    Excellent product

    I use this for varnishing walking sticks which I make. It is hard wearing and long lasting. I haven't opened this tin yet but I am sure it is as good as any I have bought elsewhere (probably more expensively!)
