He was very responsive and apologized several times for the scratched faucet. The item does appear new. I am just not sure it it was scratched due to how it was shipped or if it may have been returned due to that as it was open box?

Better than the others
At first the directions are somewhat confusing, would like to see clearer directions. Once I realized what they were showing it went on very fast. I liked how this seat has the rubber pieces that act basically as shock absorbers where the seat is screwed into them. Then to release the seat for ease of cleaning is very nice, press the release button and lift off the two pegs, very nice design, when my other seat in the guest bathroom goes bad I will replace it with the cadet!
