Retro gaming reaches new heights.....
Well, after the success of the Nintendo 64, Nintendo pulled out another stroke of genius with the Gamecube. Well, in the shape of a cube (hence its name), it certainly packs a punch far above its weight in console power compared to similar consoles in the same era (around 2002-2004), and there was plenty of good as well as bad games for it. I got the Platinum Pack (which is a silver Gamecube console, with 1 silver game controller and Mario Kart: Double Dash included - of which is actually harder to complete than Mario Kart on the N64), and I now have a few games for it including Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Starfox Adventures and a couple of the Star Wars series, and no doubt that list will grow in time, as will the number of controller and additional memory card (1 4MB card ... Overall, this console has its little bonuses here and there, but also has a couple of small flaws, such as memory storage etc, but for retro gaming? Get one and have a laugh with mates on Mario Kart: Double Dash or go it alone in a fantasy world of Dungeons & Dragons with Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. This console is a must have for any retro gaming lover or games lover in general.

Love this system
Everything works good. And the unit is clean. The two controllers are a little cheaper quality. But I seldom have more then one person playing. Over all a four. Serious Sam game is gay...that's takes it from a 5 to a four star.
