Am keeping it as it is what I wanted but I feel the description should be changed to show the price is for only a single item so as to avoid misleading people and also to avoid miss selling. It did arrive quite quickly and packaging flimsy but contents not particularly fragile. Would probably be very cautious about using this seller again, depending on the item.

    Yacht varnish, it's tough.

    I've used this in the past and it's a really good, tough, product. I've just used it to protect my cement garden statues. They look great.

    DON'T BUY, Rustins Satin Yacht Varnish

    Very thin. Poor coverage. Long drying time. Has a slight colouring. Although this was the best value for quantity, It was not worth this sacrifice against the cost of a good quality product. If you want a job done on the cheap, this is it. This review is for the satin version. I can not comment on the gloss. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. I WILL NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

    Reveiw

    This applies ok, but I painted it to a cleaned sanded surface and thinned it using white spirit. It was fine until next morning when many cloudy white areas had appeared on the surface. Perhaps I thinned it too much on its first coat ?

    Rustins Yacht Varnish - Best I have used.

    THE best varnish I have ever used.. Goes on easily and leaves a lovely finish. Am on my third tin.

    Would not purchase this product again.

    i wish I had taken note of previous reviews. I am experienced in applying paint and had prepared the wood appropriately prior to application but I found that this product went on very patchy leaving an uneven finish.
