Decent power center, below average locking design
This is a decent power center, especially for the price. You get circuit breakers, 12V outlets, an on-demand power gauge, well built wing nut posts, and nice internal cabling to hook to the battery. I am much less happy with the fact that it doesn't come with a good locking mechanism. The cloth strap doesn't stay very tight, and carrying it with a heavy battery definitely makes the lid come off a bit every single time. You should develop a custom latch system, but the plastic may be too flimsy to handle years of repeated carrying, unless you'll always leave this box in place. Get it if you want something quickly that has a good feature set for a pretty good price.This is a decent power center, especially for the price. Good fit, excellent quality
I'm using it with a group 27 deep cycle battery to support a CPAP in the camper on my truck. The battery width and height are basically a perfect fit. The case is about 3/4" too long, but that is a minor issue. I would not recommend using this box with a group 24 battery, as the box would be way too long for that. To connect it to my truck for charging purposes, I had some 8 gauge cable run from the battery to the rear with an Anderson connector, then put a pig tail on the box with about five feet of cable, also terminated with an Anderson connector. That way I can hook it up to charge while driving, but disconnect at night so I am not draining the truck's battery. The setup works well. This is a great power option for Outdoor Adventures.
It seems to be well made. The handle makes it very easy to carry. And it is Beefy enough to handle the weight of a battery. The main reason I personally bought it was to power my CPAP machine when hunting. By adding a 12-volt DC power cord made buy my CPAP manufacturer. My battery will last longer. Now I do not need to use a inverter I just plug into one of two 12-volt power outlets.

Great for trolling motor battery
This power center works perfectly for my inflatable boat and trolling motor. It's light weight, but plenty sturdy for a heavy battery. The built in charge meter and 12v plugs are very convenient while on the boat. Great value!
