Always a question mark around solid state circuitry, however, this kit came tested. (I believe by ECU TESTING “ ) due to it being delivered in a package with ECU testing tape securing the box. The only point to bear in mind is that the key that comes with the kit not turn the existing steering barrel on your vehicle. This means you will need to have a new key cut with the transponder chip code from the replacement key coded into the newly cut key…A auto-locksmith will be able to do this for around £60 to £100 depending on travelling distance. The kit worked fine when installed which rectified an over-fuelling issue with an MX5. Always a question mark around solid state circuitry, however, this kit came tested.
