I Love this scent!
I bought this as a present for my mum who, when I was a lot younger, talked about how lovely it was. I tried it and she was right. It has a Chanel No 5 vibe but much nicer and the scent lasts for a long time on my skin. It smells classic but not old fashioned, slightly sweet but spicy with a little cinnamony and oriental vibe. It reminds me of cosy winter evenings in front of an open fire. I have to look for vintage mitsouko, dated before IFRA banned oakmoss , I've tried the current edp and it's not worth the money , smells nothing like the vintage formulation , so pleased to have found this , i store all my perfumes away from heat and light so they last , Mitsouko is stored away until the Autumn nights have a chill in the air which is when this perfume shines , a lot has been written about vintage Guerlain , Google it to learn what it smells like in it's different formulations , how to date it by bottle , code and box , If you've ever had a perfume that you loved and are disappointed on your new bottle , chances are it's gone thru yet another reformulation and not because you have changed , I keep all my vintage perfumes for going out in the evening's as i don't know when ... Forget the Christmas specials from the latest batch of celebrities - choose a classic instead. It was created in the 1920s by a master - Jacques Guerlain. You won't see it advertised or promoted. A classic
Mitsouko is one of the greats of perfumery - nearly a hundred years old! It has been reformulated several times but the latest incarnation has given it back something of it's former glory. If you like classic chypre perfumes you must give Mitsouko a try.
