    A good read

    Read this many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought I would read it again as it’s the centenary of WW1 ‘s end. Especially as it’s a novel from the ‘other side’s’ point of view. The young Germans joining up to fight for their country were no different from our young men doing exactly the same.
