About this product

Product Information

An after-school favourite of young viewers throughout the late-1980s, DUCKTALES chronicled the wacky adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck (a relative of Donald Duck) and his mischievous feathered nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. As Scrooge constantly thinks up new ways to expand his wealth, the boys help out by guarding his gold from the villainous Beagle Boys. With each episode, the gang finds itself immersed in a new series of animated journeys, often in search of glistening treasure. While Scrooge may be protective of his wallet, he also develops a soft spot for the young ducks Donald Duck left in his care after joining the Navy. Often joining in for the ride are frequent characters like Gyro Gearloose, Mrs. Beakley, Webbigail Vanderquack, and of course the Beagle Boys.

    Nostalgia

    It was awesome when I was growing up and still is to this day. I bought a copy for my younger relatives so they too can have fond memories further down the line.

    Great show, good release...

    I LOVE ""Duck Tales""! I grew up watching it on TV and was very happy to find the DVD set. Unfortunately it's the most disappointing Disney DVD release I have seen. The box is rather nice and the cover art is very good too. You get 20 episodes over 3 discs, each in a separate slim case. The cover art on each volume is different. As for the discs - this is where the disappointment is. The menus are boring - nothing animated, just a screengrab from some episode with the theme playing over it. We also don't get ANY Bonus Features, and ""Duck Tales"" is a series that deserves plenty of them. Overall, it's a good release and I don't regret buying it, and neither will probably you, but Disney could've done a much better job with ...

    1st collection & 2nd collection.

    Complete 1st & 2nd, a couple of the DVD's were disc were really scratched and didn't play very well they kept skipping, so I had I to buy the new DVD's because of the poor quality. And gave them to my nephew to watch. Much more happier now I bought the new DVD's. 10/10
