From going on safari with Teddy Roosevelt to waxing philosophic with Leo Tolstoy, the show is gently educational as it charts young Indy intersecting, often dangerously, with historical events. Produced under the watchful eye of creator George Lucas, these feature-length episodes chronicle young Indiana getting himself in all sorts of tight situations, and feature guest stars that include Vanessa Redgrave, Max von Sydow, Anne Heche, Lukas Haas, Elizabeth Hurley, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

    Two are very good the others are rubbish

    I got the VHS about the train and it was brilliant, so I got the others on DVD and was disappointed. The story about the aeroplane was entertaining but the others were not worth watching. The trouble is you can't find which DVD has the one with the train on. At £21 each it would be expensive to find out, (£63 for the set).

    The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones Vol 3

    There is nothing bad to say about it. If you like Harrison Ford as Indy you'll love these! A proper action adventure. Each individual story are brilliantly put together with amazing scenery and superbly well acted. The REAL life events of the past are brought to life! Sean Patrick Flannery portrays a wonderful young Indy, just how you would expect him to have been! I bought the third and final series as I own the other Volumes and the collection wouldn't be complete. Also so my nephews can watch and learn about significant events in the past.

    Excellent Family Viewing The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones

    Purchased this as we all like Indiana Jones, and already have volumes 1 and 2. Similar theme as the movies, in every adventure Indy usually meets and interacts with famous people of the times. For good healthy family entertainment especially as there's no swearing The Aventures of Young Indiana Jones is difficult to beat. Perfect for young and old and the boxsets are worth every penny and can be watched over and over again.
