My husband didnt realize he bought one that clearly stated it was for parts only because he sometimes lacks the basic ability to read. The seller contacted me and it appears we worked things out.
I ordered parts from Champion power equipment and carefully remover the control module and carb. Installed the new parts and checked the oil before starting.
The generator works as it should, now and I am satisfied with the generator.
