I liked the game because I had played it before when BlockBuster used to rent out sega games. I liked it a lot and wanted to buy it. However I was younger then and didn't have money to buy the game. So now when I do have the ability to purchase the game I did. I've enjoyed the game a lot. It is a pretty solid fighting game for the time it was released. I have yet to notice any bugs or problems witht he game. The game starts off during the actual movie, however after beating the bugs droids the game spins off into the power rangers past about the new power rangers like Rocky, Aisha, and one other person whos name I forget. It suprise me a little that they went for flashback levels when they could have used ideas from the movie, such as the jungle on the moon, fighting the bird monsters and other things left out in the game. The difficulty of the game is made up by how much time you have to complete the area. In certain areas however you may take a unnecesary amount of damage from this time constraint in the hard mode since the monsters all spawn at the same rate as they did in the other difficulty's. The music is pretty pumping, the sound effects all made sense and sounded "just right" in the atmosphere the game provides. The only complaint I might be able to voice is that all the power rangers look the same, probably because its all the same model with just a different color. However its not that big of a deal. When you play the game you notice that you get health from the tokens your enemies drop, some of these also heal you, however you can't really tell which tokens do what. It usually always seems to be the Pink ranger's coin, though I am not sure, if I had the instruction booklet maybe some things would be cleared up in my mind. The only thing I was concerned about was the lack of unlockable content, and that there is almost zero replay value, as much fun as I had playing the game a few times in one setting there really isn't much of anything to change up the main game except the time limit set by the difficulty. The game is pretty fun and I hope that you would try a hand at this game especially if you like side scrolling beat-em up games.Read full review

When I was a kid I would go to the video store and rent this game constantly! Whenever it was out I would be devastated and I would try to rent it for Super Nintendo switch isn't the same as the Sega Genesis version, so happy to have this game again!!

This one is closer to the story line, you get to use Zords, it has music from the TV show and best of all, it's a Beat'em Up in the style of Streets Of Rage. You'll love this better than the SNES version.

I haven't hooked up my Genesis yet, but I'm confident it will work at least as well if I bought this 30 years ago and kept it all this long. Thank you!

There are a couple of Power Rangers games out on the classic 16 bit systems, but Power Rangers the Movie is by far the best of the bunch. First of all, the other games are fighting games. They aren't as good as street fighter or mortal combat, or even clay fighter for that fact. The movie game is a beat' em up, much along the lines of streets of rage, and teenage mutant ninja turtles. It is great fun! Two player mode is available and is the best way to finish this game. I highly recommend this game to fans of the Power Rangers, or to fans of good beat'em ups.
Really really good game . Definitely a gotta have
