I've used a wrist release for 20+ years and finally decided to make the switch to a back tension finger release. After reading hundreds of reviews and forums I decided on the Carter Chocolate Addiction and boy did I do it right! It took a little getting used to, but when I got it I knew I'd never go back. This thing fits my hands perfectly and is smooth as silk. I love how I can adjust for travel and tension, both of which is easy to do. Yes it's expensive, however there's no doubt it's well made and will last for years to come. I thought $100 was a lot to spend on a release until I shot a few of them and then tried the Carter. Worth the extra money by far. If you're thinking of switching to a finger release I must say do it. You won't regret it. And don't waste time and money on a lesser brand. Bite the bullet and buy this Carter. Well worth it!Read full review

I had one a few years back and like a Dummy, sold it. It's a awesome release for target or 3D shooting. Haven't tried it hunting because experience led me to have a strapped on release so you don't loose it going through the junk... lol... there's a barns release up in a canyon, where awesome Elk roam.. 🤣😎

Consistency is the key to better archery. This releaeses exactly the same shot after shot. Can also be tuned to your exact needs. It is on the heavy and thick side but I like that as well as it gives me a better grip.
